Allens Arthur Robinson partner Tim LEstrange and
Freehills partner John OSullivan have been appointed to the top legal roles at the
ANZ and Commonwealth banks respectively.
LEstrange, who is executive partner of Allens litigation and dispute resolution practice, will replace Jane Slatter as
ANZs group general counsel in July following Slatters resignation. LEstrange is a former managing partner of Allens and has been with the firm for 22 years. Tony Kuhn replaces LEstrange as executive partner of the litigation practice.
At CBA, OSullivan will replace long-standing legal counsel Les Taylor upon Taylors retirement at the end of the year.
