DLA Piper has announced that former Clayton Utz partner Amanda Turnill will join its litigation and regulatory practice, effective June 1. Turnill specialises in pharmaceutical regulation, the defence of product liability claims and group and class actions. She will further develop DLA Piper’s life sciences capability and is assembling a team of experienced lawyers for the practice.
DLA Piper’s global life sciences practice has become a significant focus for the firm in the Asia-Pacific region. The practice co-chairs Lisa Haile, Bruce W Jenett and Bonella Ramsay issued the following statement: "The Life Sciences and Health Care sectors are key areas of focus for the firm in the Asia Pacific region and globally.
