Just a week after recruiting five partners to the firm, HWL Ebsworth has added another two partners to its corporate group.
Leon Gorr and Yan Li Wang from Herbert Geer will join former Mallesons Stephen Jaques partner Betsy-Ann Howe as the newest partners in the firm’s taxation practice. Gorr and Wang will be based in Melbourne, while Howe is based in Sydney.
Along with the two partners three senior lawyers will also be joining HWL Ebsworth in the taxation practice. "Leon and Yan Li are high profile tax practitioners, with acknowledged reputations as leaders in their field. Their joining the practice further strengthens the firm’s full service commercial skill set nationally,” said Juan Martinez, managing partner at HWL Ebsworth.
These partner appointments take the total number of new partners at the firm to seven in only two weeks. The newest recruits will start no later than 1 April.
