BVI firm Barker Adams has opened its first overseas office after launching in Singapore. The firm, which specializes in cross border transactional advice relating to an array of BVI and related offshore entities, structures and transactions, as well as commercial litigation and insolvency, will be led in the Lion City by former Maples and Calder lawyer, May Lin Low. Low will work closely with BVI-based partners Stephen Adams and Michael Pringle in the development of the office.
The move makes Barker Adams the fourth offshore player to enter the Singapore market. Conyers Dill & Pearman, Walkers, and Isle of Man specialists Cains all have offices in the country. ALB
