New Zealand firm Bell Gully has added three senior associates to its offices in Auckland and Wellington.
Sally Fitzgerald (pictured) joins Bell Gully in Auckland after spending the last four years as a senior associate with Mallesons Stephen Jaques in Sydney and Melbourne. Fitzgerald also had stints with Clifford Chance and Debevoise & Plimpton in London.
She specialises in major commercial disputes in the domestic and international markets, and has particular expertise in domestic and international arbitration.
Employment law specialist Maria Berryman will join the litigation team in Wellington. Her previous experience includes practising in construction and insurance litigation in San Francisco with construction attorneys Wolkin & Timpane.
David Chapman-Smith has become a member of the corporate & commercial team in Auckland, after returning from a six-year stint at Ashurst in London. During his time with Ashurst, he was seconded to financial services provider Skandia UK and to international news agency Reuters.
