Pinsent Masons has appointed Lenka Glynn as head of the firm’s outsourcing, technology & commercial (OTC) group in the Middle East. Glynn joins the firm as a partner from the Dubai office of DLA Piper, where she was a legal director.
Glynn’s practice spans the entire spectrum of TMT law. In addition to her experience in IT and telco regulatory work, she also has a well-established media practice in South Asia and Africa.
The head of the firm’s international OTC Group, Clive Seddon, said: “Although legal budgets are currently tight, we consider this a great time to invest in expanding our Middle East and Asia Pacific operations.”
Meanwhile, the firm has also relocated construction partner Mark Raymont to its Dubai office. Raymont, who moves from Hong Kong, is noted for his contentious work in the construction, energy and oil & gas sectors.
The appointments of Glynn and Raymont bring the firm’s UAE headcount to twenty six.
