Al Tamimi & Co has boosted its Abu Dhabi office through the appointment of a new head of office, partner and associate, raising the firm’s headcount by three.
Corporate partner Stephen Foster joins the firm from Hassans, a Gibralter-based firm, and will lead the 24-lawyer Abu Dhabi team as the new head of office. Foster has previously advised on projects such as the London Underground PPP and is expected to develop the firm’s offerings in infrastructure projects in the Emirate.
Al Tamimi has also re-appointed alumni Tara Marlow to head its property and hospitality practice. She returns after taking an in-house position as the vice president of legal at hotelier and developer, Majid Al Futtaim Properties.
Meanwhile, the firm’s associate ranks have also been boosted with the appointment of commercial lawyer Khaled Al Hayyas, from law firm Bu Jseem. As of June last year Al Tamimi had four partners and 16 associates.
