Islamic insurance specialist Peter Hodgins, who was part of the team which accompanied Oliver Agha in his departure last year from DLA Piper, has joined Clyde & Co in Dubai.  As reported last week, Agha will be starting his own firm.

Meanwhile, the new recruits keep arriving at the firm in a positive sign for the region - or at least Clyde & Co. Former Oman Oil general counsel John McMahon has been recruited as an energy and projects consultant in the Doha office. Former Allen & Overy senior associate Katherine Price arrives shortly in Dubai to join the financial services team, and former Baker & McKenzie associate Arjun Chhabra has joined the corporate and finance team.
