Thailand’s Chandler MHM has advised Phu Yen TTP Joint Stock Company (Phu Yen JSC) on a $186 million loan to develop and operate a 257MW solar power plant in Hoa Hoi, Phu Yen Province, Vietnam, with Clifford Chance representing the lenders.

This is set to be Vietnam’s largest single operating solar power plant, and the agreement marks the country’s first certified green loan. Phu Yen JSC is owned by Thailand’s B.Grimm Power and Truong Thanh Viet Nam.

The Chandler MHM team was led by partner Joseph Tisuthiwongse. Partners Hans Menski and Philip Sealey led the Clifford Chance team.
